Terrific Tuesday and Thursday Thrillz
Terrific Tuesday and Thursday Thrillz offers a selection of academic, creative, and life-skills enrichment classes for student in grades K-5. “Terrific Tuesdays” is geared for children in grades K-2, while “Thurzday Thrillz” offers classes for children in grades 3-5. Classes are taught by community instructors, NACEP staff and Americorps members, and classroom teachers. Class offerings include: Kids Theatre, Fiber Arts, Basketball Skills, African Dance, Anishinabe Drum Group, Amazing Construction, Animal Science, International Games Club, and more! All children enrolled in COMPASS participate in a “Terrific Tuesdays” or “Thurzday Thrillz” class. The program serves an additional 180 children annually. Spring semester will begin on Tuesday, February 8th and run to May 5th, 2011. Program meets from 3:30p.m.- 5:30p.m. Pre-enrollment brochures (link to pre-enrollment brochure) will be sent home with Nettleton students on January 10, 2011.
